Who doesn’t like scouring through racks at consignment/thrift shops for good deals? My mom is the champ at digging for deals at the Goodwill.
ThredUp just made consignment shopping a little more fun. It is an online consignment shop with hundreds of top quality secondhand clothing, shoes, handbags and best of all…kids clothes. Yes, I want my little man to be the best dressed on the block but he grows out of clothes way too fast to spend $$$ on new clothes every few months. Kids consignment is a savior!
I recently discovered and ordered a few items from Thred Up. This is what I found:
- Talbots white jeans
- XXI dress
- Michael Stars top
- Sweet Pea top
For Toddler boy:
- Ralph Lauren shorts x2
- Polo top
- Ralph Lauren tee
- Old Navy shorts
First off, the packaging was above expectations for a consignment shop. The box was neatly packed with tissue. Also, everything had a ThredUp tag, which was a nice touch. Furthermore, nothing had that “thrift shop smell” . Everything looked practically brand new. The most expensive piece was the Michael Stars top at $14 and they usually run over $50 new. I’d say it was a good first experience. I spent less than $90 and it all came to my door with free shipping!
Overall, it was a good experience and I would shop ThredUP again. Nice work!
Have you found any great consignment sites?
